The Scientific Commission for the Implementation of the Ban on extreme breeding

The amendment to the Animal Welfare Act (effective January 1, 2025), Article 22 clarifies pet breeders‘ responsibilities with regard to preventing problems caused by inadequate breeding planning.

The Extreme Breeding Commission supports the implementation of the ban on extreme breeding. Scientific reports and expert recommendations intend to support breeders and authorities in fulfilling their responsibilites.
